Microsoft and Samsung collaborated to bring Copilot AI to Samsung TVs. It has a few really practical features that I would use probably really often. For example Custom, spoiler free recaps of Movies and Series, Specific recommendations so that means you can ask “Like Stranger things, but about a Dragon world“, Group-friendly picks: “Hannah likes rom-coms, David likes sci-fi, Mark likes thrillers. What’s something we’ll all like?”, And Post-watch deep dives: “Who was the voice actor for that character?” or “What else has the director done?”. But also Everyday help: “Will Saturday in Seattle be good conditions for hiking?” or “Cheer me up after a breakup.” I think that this makes movie watching even more fun. For now Copilot will be available on 2025 TV models including Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, The Frame, as well as the M7, M8, M9 Smart Monitors. But they plan to expand the availability also to other Samsung TV models.
